Undergraduate Prospective Student Tour
Please fill out this form if you are interested in attending one of our upcoming tours to the Smithsonian-Mason School of Conservation to hear more about our undergraduate semester programs.
Thank you for your interest in attending a Prospective Student Tour of the Smithsonian-Mason School of Conservation!
This tour gives students the opportunity to see the SMSC campus buildings and experience a brief van-driven tour of the SCBI property, including a number of our wildlife areas. Students will also enjoy a free lunch in our all-you-can-eat dining hall and view a presentation by SMSC faculty members about the undergraduate academic programs.
Tours leave Mason campus just before 10 am and return around 3 pm, or you can choose to meet us at the Front Royal campus in the Residence Hall lobby by 10:45 am.
The guided tours are a great way to learn about SMSC before you apply or begin your program. We hope to have you join us!
PLEASE NOTE: University policy states that minors (people under 18) may not be passengers in the vans used to transport guests from (and to) Fairfax. If you are under the age of 18, you are welcome to join us for the tour, but you must provide your own transportation to SCBI in Front Royal.

When are you possibly thinking of attending SMSC?
Tour sizes are limited and priority is given first to undergraduate students, then to interested high school students, if space is available. Additional guests, such as parents or friends, are permitted if space allows once all students have registered.
Check if you're requesting to bring a non-student guest. A staff member will reach out to you for additional details.
